Delhi:The International Cricket Council (ICC) is thinking about the possibility of hosting the Pakistan-India clash in the Cricket World Cup 2023 in Ahmedabad.
According to Indian media, there is a possibility of hosting World Cup matches at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, which is the largest cricket stadium in terms of seating capacity, accommodating more than one hundred thousand spectators.
The ICC Cricket World Cup is scheduled for October and November, and the announcement of the World Cup schedule and venues is expected soon. According to Indian media, seven venues have been finalized for Indian league matches, and there will be two matches in Ahmedabad. All matters remain under control, and the World Cup will start from October 5th. The venues in Nagpur, Bangalore, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and Kolkata have been shortlisted.
Indian media reports that Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Rajkot, Indore, and Dharamshala are also included in the venues, but there is a possibility of Pakistan's matches being held in Chennai and Bangalore due to security reasons.
According to Indian media, a plan has been made for the Indian team to play on slow tracks for home advantage, and matches against Australia, England, New Zealand, and South Africa will be played on slow pitches."
